An Adelie penguin watches curiously his huge, red-furred visitors.
At this time of the year, he usually comes with thousands of his colleagues
on shore for breeding. Penguins don't see any danger in humans and therefore don't
show a lot of shyness. Also many Emperor penguins live on the pack ice around Antarcica.
They are very good swimmers and divers, and they are the only birds that never
come on land in their whole life.
